Born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised on my parents Maryland dairy. Growing up on a dairy farm was a mixture of hard work and play. I miss the domestic farm animals, the planting, and the harvest.
The family sold their dairy and moved to the Northwestern wilderness of Maine during the early 1960s. I enjoyed everything I learned about the wilderness. After graduating from high school, I went to school in Oklahoma.
I have spent the past 38 years working in the world of engineering and scientist in Southern Maine for a national corporation.
My wife and I are planning to retire in the Southwestern USA one of these days. Until then, we have been learning all we can about the cultures, mountains, and the high desert.
